Bravo TV’s Million Dollar Listing franchise made its grand debut in the City by the Bay last night with the premier of Million Dollar Listing San Francisco and it was everything we’d hoped for – and more!
There was a lot of buzz leading up to the premier and San Francisco did not disappoint. From the beautiful sights and scenes to the stunning listings and lavish open homes, MDLSF offered a glitzy, entertaining look at San Francisco – and beyond. We saw some tough negotiations, open houses that rivaled some of the best cocktail parties around and all the while got to gawk at the beauty of the Bay Area. Yes, the entire Bay Area. It was a pleasant surprise to see MDLSF go beyond the Golden Gate, showcasing a home in Alamo, and we hope to see Silicon Valley, Marin and the Wine Country featured at some point this season.
The show stars three San Francisco brokers: Justin Fichelson, a San Francisco native banking on his social connections, Andrew Greenwall, a veteran who started his own brokerage, and Roh Habibi, a charismatic family man who works with Joel Goodrich, both with Coldwell Banker. Perhaps we’re biased, but Roh stole the show, first with his heartwarming background story, then with his precious family and finally by breakdancing his way into our hearts when attempting to woo potential millennial buyers into making an offer on his listing.
While most tune in for the drama, we’re all about the real estate. The three homes featured this week were a Noe Valley craftsman, a “Hollywood Hills”-style home in Alamo and a grand estate in St. Francis Wood.
The episode wrapped up with the three agents meeting for the first time and Roh’s parting words, “This is going to be such a good season.” Judging from the upcoming scenes, we couldn’t agree more.
So what did you think? Here we rounded up some of the best Twitter reactions from the episode’s premier.
