While NCAA‘s March Madness seems to dominate the sports casting networks during the month of March, it respectfully follows the 2015 NBA All-Star Game which aired on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Even more exciting news was the victory of the Western Conference All-Star team over the Eastern Conference All-Star team—163-158! It’s no wonder, really, with the amazing representation from California: Chris Paul from the Lakers out of Los Angeles, Stephen Curry and first-time NBA All-Star Klay Thompson from the Golden State Warriors out of Oakland, and finally from Sacramento’s Kings, DeMarcus Cousins. The Golden State still has a ton of NBA action left in its regular season, until the real fun starts when the 2015 NBA playoffs begin on April 18. Whatever region you find yourself traveling to, make plans to take in all the dunks, swats, and steals of California’s NBA action.

The Bay Area has their version of a championship team in the Golden State Warriors, who currently play at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. Oakland has played such a great host for team sports—and we’re sure their next door neighbors in Berkeley would agree! There is, however, a newly proposed arena in San Francisco’s Mission Bay area that would seat 18,000 people, have a view deck, include a 24,000 square foot public plaza on the southeast side and a 35,000 square foot public plaza on the Third Street side. The estimated date of completion isn’t slated for a few more seasons. Once built will remain easy to get to across the bay to San Francisco, including from this amazing privatly located property currently on the market.
